Team Haiti-4-Jesus Animal Programs

TH4J has established an Orphanage in Les Basses Haiti. There are currently 214 children in our care. We are providing food, Gov accredited schooling, medical supplies and the nurturing care that each of these children so desperately needs.

We are working toward installing a permanent feeding program for our Orphans through raising goats.


We started with one baby goat in November 2012 then bought a few more along, We now have 12 goats in Les Basse. One of the original babies grew up and had babies of her own, 1 billy and one nanny, the billy is almost grown now and will be the first goat butchered to help feed the Orphans. this is a complete success story. We have other young goats who will be having babies in the spring. It would be great if we could raise all of the goats that it takes to feed our Orphans, and with some additional help we could do that in the future. Only $35.00 buys a baby goat, that goat will grow up to have several babies in her lifetime. Is there anybody (maybe an organization or a church) who is interested in helping us increase our herd so that we could produce one goat per week (that's only 52 goats per year) for the children to eat?
